Returns & Exchanges

Shaft, wheel and mounting hardware arrive together in part 2630HG, the light gray axle assembly for the SEBO ELECTRONIC 370. Buying it made up renews the running gear in one operation instead of piecemeal.

This axle carries the weight of the machine on every stroke and takes a shock load each time the vacuum is bumped over a threshold or dropped the last inch onto a hard floor. A shaft that has bent, or a bore that has worn oval, turns into wobble and uneven rolling, and the extra load is then thrown at the plastics around it. The machine feels heavy, tracks badly, and can leave the nozzle sitting at the wrong height on one side.

Replacing the whole unit removes any argument about which half had actually gone, which is the usual difficulty once a shaft and a bore have worn into each other. Note how the old assembly is oriented as it comes out, clear packed hair from around the shaft, and check the remaining wheels for wear while the machine is turned over.
