This is the HEPA filter for Bosch's Compact and Compact Plus canisters, part 00578733. Bosch has listed the same filter under several numbers over the years, including BBZ8SF1, BBZ8SF1UC, VZ54000, 00263506 and 00460473, so an older manual may not name the number printed on your box. It covers the BSA2100UC, BSA2200UC and BSA2222UC.
The HEPA filter is the exhaust stage, and it is meant to be renewed rather than cleaned. As it loads, the machine has to pull air through a tighter and tighter medium: suction drops at the head, the motor runs hot and loud, and the exhaust starts carrying the smell of everything the filter is holding.
One filter per pack, and it is a replace-not-wash item unless your manual says otherwise.
