Item 161 is the cover itself, 5249DB1 in the same dark blue. The release is the catch of the three, the piece that keeps the hinged cover on the underside of the head pulled down where it belongs.
Anyone who cleans the roller works that catch by hand, which is why cracked arms and hooks worn to a curve are so ordinary on a machine a few years old.
