The SEBO Brush Roller Release (dark blue) is a genuine replacement for the Automatic X4 and X5 uprights. It secures the brush roller in the power head and releases it so the roller can be pulled for cleaning or swapped out.
Constant locking and unlocking wears the catch, and a broken release will not hold the roller steady or will jam so the roller cannot be freed. A loose roller wanders in its bearings, chews the belt, and drops cleaning performance on carpet. The correct release brings back secure, tool-free roller changes.
