This genuine SEBO Buffer for the motor cover fits the SEBO X7 and X8 uprights. The buffer cushions the motor cover, absorbing vibration and shock between the cover and the motor housing during operation.
Running the motor sends steady vibration into the cover, and the buffer is what damps it, so a worn, hardened, or missing buffer lets the cover rattle and transmits noise and stress to the surrounding parts. Over time that added vibration can loosen fixings and wear mating surfaces. A fresh buffer restores quiet, cushioned contact at the motor cover.
