Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.
Shipping and refunds
For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Bumper trim is the sacrificial layer on an upright: the part that is meant to wear so the housing underneath keeps its shape. On the AUTOMATIC X2 and the AUTOMATIC X5 that layer is gray black, and 5230GS is the replacement set for both machines.

The material stiffens over several seasons, then a corner takes a hard knock against a door frame and splits rather than flexing, and from that point the section works its way loose at one end. What follows is predictable: bare plastic meeting furniture legs and painted skirting, and marks appearing on both.
