This OEM Hoover brush roll shaft for the Model 913 fits Hoover 91 and 913 uprights and similar models. The shaft runs through the center of the brush roll, giving the agitator a straight axle to spin on as the belt drives it.
A bent or worn shaft makes the brush roll wobble, bind, or spin unevenly, which shows up as vibration, noise, and patchy pickup across the carpet. A straight replacement shaft returns the roll to a true, balanced spin so agitation stays even end to end.
