SEBO Internal Cable Through...

Product details

Power that flickers on and off as the handle is moved usually ends at a lead like this one. Part 1833UL is the internal cable routed through the bag housing of the SEBO 370 Comfort and Electronic 370.

Flexing at the same two points for years fatigues the strands inside the insulation, and the break can be completely invisible from outside the sheath. That is what makes this fault so misleading: the cable looks perfect, the fault comes and goes with the machine's posture, and the components at either end get suspected first. Once a continuity test with the lead gently flexed puts the fault in this section, renewing the run is a permanent fix rather than a temporary one. Intermittent power, a machine that cuts out when reclined, and a dead circuit downstream of the housing all point the same way.

Any work here is mains wiring, so treat it accordingly and hand it to a technician if that is not familiar ground.

  • Function: internal power lead routed through the bag compartment
  • Fits: SEBO 370 Comfort and Electronic 370
  • Addresses: intermittent power and dead circuits downstream
  • Part number: 1833UL
  • Related parts: female contact holder 1836UL, cable connection cover 1812HG, and bag housing 1831HG, which is supplied with its internal cable already fitted

The diagnosis is worth doing properly rather than by substitution. With the machine unplugged, put a meter across the run and flex the lead by hand along its length; a reading that jumps as the cable moves confirms the break is inside this section and not at a connector. Searches for a SEBO 370 internal wire or an Electronic 370 housing cable land on 1833UL.

Genuine SEBO through an authorized dealership, usually shipping in 2–5 business days. Unplug the machine before starting, copy the original routing exactly so the new lead clears the moving parts, and check the terminals at both ends for heat marks while they are accessible. A lead that has been arcing at a loose contact will have marked the contact as well as itself.
