Kirby's genuine OEM Handle Spring Oil-Lite Bearing fits the Tradition 3CB, Heritage I, Heritage II, and Heritage II Legend. The oil-impregnated bearing supports the handle spring pivot, providing a self-lubricating surface that keeps the handle moving smoothly through its range.
When the bearing dries out or wears, the pivot grows stiff or develops play, and the handle can bind, squeak, or feel loose in your hand. That extra friction and slop make the machine less comfortable to control. A new Oil-Lite bearing restores quiet, low-friction motion and takes the wear off adjacent parts.
