This genuine SEBO leaf spring works with the microfilter holder on the 370 series uprights. The flat spring presses the microfilter holder against its seat so the exhaust filter stays firmly in place.
As the leaf spring loses tension, the holder no longer clamps the microfilter tightly, and unfiltered air can bypass the media. That reduces filtration quality and can let fine dust into the exhaust. Replacing the spring reseats the holder and restores the filter's proper seal.
