This genuine SEBO Locking Rod secures the bag housing on 370 series uprights, the metal rod that latches the dust bag door closed so the compartment stays sealed during use. It is the retaining rod specified for the 370.
If the rod bends, corrodes, or its tension weakens, the bag housing can pop open or fail to seat fully, breaking the airtight seal and letting suction and dust escape at the compartment. A new rod restores a firm latch and a sealed bag chamber.
