The genuine SEBO Noise Limiting Cover is a replacement acoustic panel for the SEBO E series canister. It fits over the motor and exhaust area, where its shaped baffle damps the airflow and running noise the machine produces in normal use.
When this cover cracks, warps, or goes missing, the sound insulation it provides is lost and the vacuum runs noticeably louder and can rattle against the body. Heat cycling and handling over the years are the common causes. Reinstalling the correct cover quiets operation and returns the machine to its intended sound level.
