Once the top shell over a brush chamber splits, grit reaches the belt and the gears and the head stops sitting square on the floor. Part 2623AM is the dark gray power head cover for the SEBO ELECTRONIC 370, supplied as a complete assembly.

The cover does more than tidy the head up. It closes the brush chamber so air is drawn through the nozzle rather than through a crack in the housing, it keeps hair and grit off the belt run, and it carries fixing points that clamp the head together as one rigid unit. A cracked cover therefore costs airflow and alignment at the same time, and the damage usually starts at a corner or a screw boss after the machine has been dropped or run hard into furniture.

Because it ships made up rather than as a bare moulding, the repair is a single swap: lift the damaged shell away, transfer the head across, and refasten. That is the natural moment to look over the brushroll, the belt and the bearings, since every one of them is exposed while the cover is off.
