The impact bumper wraps the leading edge of ProTeam's ProForce uprights and cushions every strike when the machine catches a baseboard, a chair leg, or a door frame at speed. Part 107093 fits the ProForce 1500XP New Style upright, the 1500XP, the 1500XP HEPA, the 1500 base model, the 1200XP, and the ProForce 1200XP HEPA.
Once the bumper cracks, tears loose at a corner, or hardens with age until it no longer flexes on impact, the damage stops being the vacuum's problem and becomes the building's. Bare housing plastic against a painted wall leaves a scuff mark; against furniture it leaves a scratch. On a contract cleaning route, marks like that get noticed and sometimes get billed back.
Age matters as much as mileage with a part like this. Flexible bumper material stiffens over time whether or not it takes hard hits, which is why a bumper on a machine that mostly sits between light shifts can still be past its useful life before one on a machine run harder every day.
Check the full length of the bumper for hardening as well as visible tears, since an aged bumper can look intact while it has already stopped cushioning anything.
