This genuine SEBO spring drives the cable rewind pedal on the C series canisters. It loads the pedal that releases the cord reel so the power cord retracts on command.
As the spring fatigues, the rewind pedal feels dead or fails to trip the reel, and the cord no longer retracts when you press it. A pedal that will not actuate leaves you winding the cord by hand. The correct replacement spring restores firm pedal feel and dependable rewind.
