This temporary cover guard (SKU TF8078BV) protects a roughed-in central vacuum wall inlet during construction. Made by Plastiflex, it caps the inlet opening after the pipe is set but before the finished valve and trim plate go on.

Through drywall, painting, and general build-out, the guard keeps dust, debris, and stray material out of the tubing so the line stays clear for the final inlet installation. It fits Plastiflex-style rough-in wall inlets and pulls off when the system is ready to finish.
