Between the circuit board and the bag housing on a SEBO 370 sits a small moulded fitting that makes the connection at that junction, and part 1860 is it. It is one of the components that only becomes visible once the top of the machine is apart, which is precisely why it tends to get overlooked.

Fittings of this kind are easy to snap during a strip-down and easy to leave out on reassembly. Broken or absent, the joint between the board and the bag housing sits loose, and anything depending on a tight connection at that point stops behaving predictably from then on. It is a small thing to renew while the machine is already open and a genuinely irritating one to have to go back in for. If the circuit board and switch assembly is being changed, or any work is happening around the bag compartment, this belongs on the same order.

Identifying it is far easier with the machine open than from a picture, since it is a small moulding tucked into the junction rather than anything visible from outside.
