The White Inlet Valve for Nutone central vacuum systems is the wall-mounted connection point where you plug in your hose, compatible with the Nutone 0613. Inlet valves see steady wear from years of hose insertion and removal, and they are a frequent source of trouble in older whole-home central vacuum installations.
A worn inlet shows itself in a few ways. The valve door stops sealing, which leaks suction across the entire system even when that inlet is not in use.
