SEBO Motor-to-Safety-Switch...

Product details
Between the motor and the micro safety switch of an ELECTRONIC 370 runs a single made-up lead with its terminals already fitted. Part 0849UL is that lead, cut to length and crimped the way SEBO builds it, so nothing has to be improvised from bulk wire and a bag of loose connectors.
It lives in a hot, vibrating corner of the machine. Over the years the insulation stiffens, a crimp works loose in its shell, and the circuit begins to open and close on its own: the machine cuts out mid-pass, or refuses to start until the housing is tapped. Because this lead forms part of a protective circuit rather than a convenience feature, an intermittent connection here is not something to nurse along for another season. Fits the SEBO ELECTRONIC 370.
- Part number: SEBO 0849UL, pre-terminated wire
- Fits: the SEBO ELECTRONIC 370
- Runs between: the motor and the micro safety switch
- Switch at the far end: part 0531/1
- Replace when: the insulation is hardened or discoloured, or a terminal pulls off under light load
- Supplied as: a made-up lead, cut to length with both terminals crimped on
- Symptoms: the machine cuts out mid-pass, or starts only after the housing is knocked
With the machine unplugged, flex the old lead along its length before deciding. A conductor broken inside insulation that still looks perfect feels soft at one point and shows continuity only while held straight, which is exactly the behaviour that makes these faults so hard to pin down. Route the new wire the way the original ran and keep it clear of anything that moves.
Genuine SEBO internal wire for the 370 ELECTRONIC, ships in 2–5 business days.
