MD lists part 352GCKSC as the 30 ft corded electric hose supplied with a cover already installed. The cover, often called a hose sock, wraps the outside of the hose so it takes the scuffing against door frames and furniture corners instead of the hose itself. MD sells the direct connect build of the same covered hose as 352GKSC.
Under the cover it is the same dual voltage hose as the rest of the line. MD publishes a 1-3/8 inch interior diameter, a three-way handle switch that controls suction and the power brush, 110 volts at the hose end to run an electric beater brush, and a full 3 year warranty. MD gives the inlet fit as 1-7/16 to 1-1/2 inches.
