Light gray and left-hand specific, SEBO 3074HG supports the left-hand end of the brush roll in the Duo brush machine. It is item 69 on the Duo parts diagram, sitting between the brush drive cog 3007 at 68 and the left-hand bearing block assembly 3052HG at 70, and its job is to give the roll a low-friction surface to spin against.
Blocks wear from the inside out, and the fault reports itself long before anything breaks. A grinding note from one end of the head, a roll that visibly wobbles as it turns, or a roll that binds and drags on the motor all point at the block rather than at the brush strip itself.
