This wire-type hose cuff enlarger in black threads onto the end of a vacuum hose to convert a 1-1/4 inch connection so it fits 1-1/2 inch tools and accessories. It is made for wire-supported hoses, giving a direct attachment path without a separate adapter in between.
When a hose end wears or the original cuff is the wrong size, tools no longer seat and air leaks at the joint. That lost seal drags down suction right where you need it. Threading on the correct enlarger restores a firm, sized connection so 1-1/2 inch tools lock on and hold.
