This genuine SEBO Brush Roller Release Knob (left-hand, dark blue) fits the SEBO Automatic X8 upright. It sits on the left end of the brush roller housing and holds the roller captive until you turn it to release the brush.
The knob takes repeated twisting over the life of the machine, and a cracked or stripped knob will spin without releasing the roller or fail to lock it back in place. You then cannot pull hair off the brush, and a roller that will not seat throws the belt. A fresh knob restores clean, positive locking.
