The genuine SEBO Cable Hook in light gray is the cord-storage hook for the SEBO 370 series uprights. It is mounted on the machine body and gives the power cord a point to wrap around, holding the coiled cord in place when the vacuum is put away.
Over years of wrapping and unwrapping the hook can crack or break, and a failed hook lets the cord slip loose and tangle each time the machine is moved. Installing a new cable hook returns a secure anchor for the cord, keeping it neatly wound off the floor and protected from the wear a loose cord picks up.
