Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

The dust bag compartment is the structural core of an upright SEBO. It holds the bag collar square, carries the bumper, and takes the load every time the machine is dragged over a threshold or pulled up a stair. Once it cracks around a mounting boss, the bag stops seating properly and unfiltered air finds its way around the collar instead of through the media.
Part 5214HG is the complete replacement housing in light gray with dark gray detailing, supplied with the bumper already fitted. It is the correct housing for the SEBO AUTOMATIC X1, AUTOMATIC X2, ESSENTIAL G1 and ESSENTIAL G2. One caveat applies to the AUTOMATIC models: an X1 or X2 rebuild also calls for front cover 5805SE, so add that to the order unless you are carrying an intact cover over from the old body. On the ESSENTIAL G1 and G2 the housing goes on without that extra requirement.
Symptoms that lead here are usually not subtle — a bag that will not clip home, a compartment door that no longer latches square, dust on the outside of a bag that is nowhere near full, or visible cracking around the bumper mounts after the machine has been used on stairs for years. Because the housing carries so many small fittings, it is worth checking the parts that clip into it while everything is apart. SEBO lists the bag holder as 5324, its spring as 5319, the housing locking catch as 5082GS, the seal between bag housing and swivel neck as 5163, and the filter safety catch as 5208 with return spring 5210. The bumper base for the AUTOMATIC X1 and X2 is 5085DG.
