Returns & Exchanges

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Gear Wheel 34 is a handed component, and this is the left one. SEBO's Duo diagram marks position 55 as the left-hand-thread gear wheel, so part 3022 backs off the opposite way to everything else on the bench. Turning it the familiar direction only tightens it further, and a gear that has been fought in the wrong direction rarely goes back into service.

Worn or chipped teeth here give the same symptoms as any other failing gear: a repeating knock timed to the gear rather than to the motor, drive that skips under load, and agitation that falls away on thicker pile while the machine sounds unchanged. Note that this number is the bare gear wheel rather than a complete stage, so inspect the shaft and the thread it rides on before reassembling; a shaft that has been chewed will make short work of a new gear.

The right-hand side is a different item again: SEBO supplies 3021 as a complete Gear Wheel 34 assembly at position 62. Everything in the left-hand group shares the same handedness, so the shaft at 57 and the pulley at 59 both unwind the same way as this gear.
