Black rather than gray, ten to the pack: 5359SW is the cord grommet SEBO lists for the darker-trimmed AUTOMATIC X4 and the AUTOMATIC X7 Pet. On the parts drawings it takes item 3, the grommet position, and the black switch cap holder 5161SW is catalogued for the same pair of machines.
Function is identical to the gray version; only the finish differs, and on these two machines the black liner is the one that disappears into the moulding as it should. Each grommet lines a hole where a cable crosses from one part of the housing to another, so the jacket bears on rubber instead of a plastic rim. The rubber stiffens with heat and age, cracks around the flange, and then either splits or works loose. After that the cable rubs a bare edge every time the machine flexes, and the wear concentrates at one point rather than spreading along the run.
A pack of ten covers all of the pass-throughs inside one machine with several left in the box for the next service, which is generally how these get bought. Unplug at the wall before going near the cord run, and look at the cable itself while the panel is open — a liner that has been missing for a while leaves a flattened, polished band on the jacket exactly where it used to sit, and that band is a fault in its own right. For a one-off replacement on an AUTOMATIC X4, the single black grommet is 5359SW1.
