This retrofit kit swaps the bag holder on a Riccar SupraLite ultralight upright for a hinged version, part D211-3614. The same kit is documented for the Carpet Pro CP-ULW and ZM-400 and for the Fuller Brush FB-SM.
Because of the hinge, the holder pivots open at bag-change time instead of staying put, a difference that matters most on an ultralight machine whose bags are changed far more often than those on a full-size upright. The kit is a retrofit, so it goes onto a machine that left the factory without it, which is why it is worth confirming the part number against the holder you are replacing rather than assuming your machine already takes this style.
Retrofitting the hinged holder is a low-cost way to make bag changes quicker on an older SupraLite-platform machine, and it is a straightforward swap that does not require replacing any other part of the bag compartment.
