This OEM Hoover agitator end plate is the right-side plate for the late-model Hoover 913, and it also fits the 91 and 918 uprights. The plate caps the right end of the agitator and holds the brush roll assembly aligned in the nozzle.
A worn or cracked end plate lets the agitator drift out of position, so the brush roll rubs or spins unevenly and pickup suffers. A fresh right-side plate supports the agitator squarely again for consistent contact with the carpet.
