This genuine Hoover motor dirt seal is an OEM replacement that fits Hoover S2037, S2043, and S3079. It forms an airtight barrier between the filtration path and the motor chamber so dust cannot bypass the filter and reach the motor.
A seal that is worn, missing, or poorly seated lets air and abrasive dust leak past, which cuts suction and grinds away at the motor over time. A correctly fitted OEM seal restores the tight junction so only filtered air passes through to the motor.
