The Hoover pivot pin trip lever is a genuine OEM handle component for Hoover upright vacuums, including the C1431. Small as it is, this part sits at the heart of the handle release mechanism, and when it wears or breaks the handle may no longer recline smoothly or lock upright the way it should.
