Part ELECON05 is a right-angle spade connector that pushes onto a motor terminal tab and turns the lead through 90 degrees, a shape that helps route wiring around tight spots inside a power unit housing where a straight connector would not clear the surrounding parts. An insulating sleeve covers the joint against shorts and accidental contact.

Spade connectors take a steady beating from motor heat and the vibration a running motor sends through everything bolted to it, and over enough cycles the spring inside the terminal can loosen its grip on the tab even while the outer insulation still looks fine. A connector in that state tends to show up as a motor that starts intermittently, cuts out under load, or stops responding altogether until the connection is reseated or replaced.
