This genuine Kirby small bolt secures the lower cord hook on the handle fork of D80 and 1CR machines and fits the Kirby Tradition. It holds the cord hook hardware firmly in place.
A missing or stripped bolt lets the lower cord hook loosen, so the cord no longer wraps securely and the hardware can rattle. A correct bolt restores a tight, dependable mount for the cord hook, which in turn keeps the power cord protected during use.
