SEBO Micro Switch Support B...

Product details
Behind the lever sits the micro switch, and 2453 is the molded support that pins it in the right place inside a SEBO ET-C power head. Alignment is everything with a micro switch: a fraction of a millimeter out and the actuator either overtravels or never reaches the plunger at all.
Supports crack around their mounting points over time, usually from a combination of heat and vibration, and the switch body then floats instead of sitting on its datum. The fault reads at the machine as a head that works if the lever is pressed a certain way and does nothing if it is not, or as a brush motor that comes and goes as the machine is worked. It is easy to misread as a failing switch or a wiring problem, which is why it is worth pulling the head apart and looking at the support before condemning the switch or chasing the loom.
A fresh support puts the switch back where the design intends. With the assembly rebuilt, work the lever a few times and listen for a clean, single click before closing the head up; if the click is still soft, the lever itself has worn and is listed separately as 2452.
