Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Genuine Miele dust compartment seal, part number 7793083 (EAN 4002515149935). This black rubber gasket runs around the top of the bag compartment, seating between the cover frame and the upper casing so that when the lid closes, the entire dust chamber is airtight. Every bit of airflow is then forced through the dust bag and filters — exactly as Miele's sealed-system filtration is designed to work.

When this seal hardens, tears, or falls out of its channel, the vacuum pulls bypass air through the lid gap. The symptoms are easy to misread as a tired motor: weaker suction at the floorhead, dust appearing inside the compartment outside the bag, or a whistling note when running on higher power. A fresh seal is a $15-class part that often restores performance owners assumed needed a new machine. Installation is tool-free — the flexible gasket presses into its channel by hand, no adhesive needed.
