This Ametek Lamb 36V through-flow motor (motor #122420) is a single-stage, 4.2-inch (106mm) DC replacement designed for equipment that separates working air from the motor cooling air. It runs on dual ball bearings at a single speed with a thermoset fan end bracket, and it handles clean, dry, filtered air only.

A through-flow motor that has worn out will lose airflow, grow noisy, or stop turning as its bearings and brushes give out. Because these motors ventilate separately, a failing unit can also run hot. The correct 36V single-stage replacement returns the equipment to its designed air performance.
