Rated at 230V and 1600 watts, this Ametek Lamb tangential bypass motor (motor #122236) is a two-stage, 6.6-inch replacement that delivers up to 160 inches of sealed water lift and 170 CFM of airflow. The tangential bypass layout keeps working air separate from the motor cooling air, which supports extractors and other demanding commercial equipment.

As a motor ages, brushes and bearings wear and efficiency drops, showing up as reduced lift, unusual noise, or a burning smell. Left in service, a worn motor strains the whole machine. A correct two-stage bypass replacement restores rated suction and protects downstream components.
