This genuine OEM Oreck short pigtail cord (part #430000991) is a 16-inch, 120V 3-wire cord that connects the vacuum motor to the main power cord. It fits the Oreck U2000R, U2000R-1, U2000RB, and U2000RB-1 uprights.
This short internal cord flexes with the handle and carries full motor current, so its conductors eventually fatigue and fail. A worn pigtail causes intermittent power, loss of suction, or a machine that will not start. Installing the correct 3-wire replacement restores a safe, continuous connection to the motor.
