Product details
Erratic behaviour from an ET-1 power head, whether that is a roller running at the wrong speed, controls that no longer register, or a head that shuts down part way across a room, usually points at the control board. Part 2684ER is the later 175W board, recognised by its yellow on/off lamp.
Fitment is wider than the ET-1 name suggests. As well as ET-1 Power Heads (with switch) and ET-1 Power Heads (without switch), this board is used on the SEBO FELIX Premium, the DART, the AIRBELT D4 PREMIUM, the AIRBELT E3 Premium, the AIRBELT K3 PREMIUM and the C3.1, which is why one part number covers so many machines in the catalog.
SEBO shows the board at position 131 in the ET 1, ET 2 Power Heads diagram, and again at position 131 in the DART diagram, where it is listed as the 120V 175W ET1 controller. On the FELIX diagram it appears at position 134. At 175W it is the lower-rated of the two ET boards and must not be interchanged with the 200W part, which carries its own number, 2689ER.
The symptoms that lead here are electrical rather than mechanical: a roller that stays dead while suction is entirely normal, a head that cuts in and out as the machine is moved, or one that ignores its switch. Confirm the belt and roller are free before spending money on electronics, then photograph the loom before unplugging anything and handle the new board by its edges.
