This genuine ProTeam switch box (SCM-1282, Part #101472) ships with the switch, hook-and-loop fastener, and screws for backpack and canister models. It houses the on/off switch that sends power to the motor and fits the Aviation Vac, CoachVac, LineVacer, MegaVac, ProVac, QuarterVac, SuperCoach, and SuperQuarterVac, and it also fits the Everest and GoVac BP.
A failing switch box causes intermittent operation or stops the vacuum from starting at all as the internal contacts fatigue. Loose mounting hardware can also let the assembly shift and strain the wiring. Installing the correct genuine switch box restores reliable, predictable power control.
