The Quick Clean Kit, part 410Q, exists for the pickups that are over in a minute and never justified dragging the long hose out of the closet. MD lists what is in the box as a stretch hose, part 315, a metal telescopic wand, part 406T, and a 12-inch floor brush, part 402D.
MD gives two different figures for the reach of that hose. Sold on its own, part 315 is published as a 6-foot hose stretching to 30 feet. On the kit page the same hose is described as stretching 7 to 24 feet. Either way it collapses small enough to keep in a drawer near the rooms that generate the most mess.
MD lists the hose as fitting wall inlets between 1-7/16 and 1-1/2 inches across, regardless of the make or year of the system. Nothing on it switches, so airflow starts as it enters the inlet and ends as it comes back out. The pet version of the same kit, part 410QP, substitutes a floor brush meant for hair.
