Carrying a vacuum upstairs puts its entire weight through one hand-hold. Part 50130HG is the light gray recessed grip set into the housing of the SEBO 300 MECHANICAL and 350 MECHANICAL, molded to sit flush with the body rather than protrude from it.
Grips crack at the corners where that load concentrates, and they crack sooner on machines that get carried between floors several times a shift. A cracked grip is not something to keep using: it tends to give way without warning, usually halfway up a staircase with the machine at the wrong end of the arm. Replacing it is inexpensive next to that outcome, and it also removes the split edge that catches on sleeves and gloves every time the vacuum is picked up. Check the surrounding housing for stress marks while the old grip is out, because a grip that has already failed once often takes a section of shell with it.
