The black hose carrier for R series uprights, part B430-0214, listed for the Riccar Vibrance and Simplicity Symmetry ranges. The carrier is the molded guide on the body of the vacuum that holds the stretch hose in its run between the nozzle and the bag compartment, keeping the hose supported and clear of the operator's feet.
When a carrier snaps, the hose sags into the wheels or drags on the floor, which stretches it and eventually splits it at the cuff. Replacing the carrier is a fraction of the cost of a hose assembly.
