The AUTOMATIC X7 Premium was sold in several soft pastel colourways, and SEBO tinted the small mouldings to match the panels. 5703CI is the cord hook in pastel blue.
Its job is to anchor the coiled mains lead high on the machine when the vacuum is put away. It is a slim moulding under constant leverage, which puts it among the first things to break when a wrap is pulled off in a hurry instead of being lifted clear. After it goes, the lead drops away every time the vacuum is moved and begins collecting damage along the floor, and a cut or crushed cable is a much worse problem than a broken hook.

The hook mounts on a single boss high on the body, so the job needs a driver and nothing else. While it is off, run a hand along the full length of the cable: a lead that has been trailing for months often has a nicked jacket somewhere in the middle, and that is worth finding before it is wound back on.
