SEBO Magnet Lever, Assemble...

Product details
Magnet lever 75079ER arrives built up rather than as a bag of components, which is the whole point of the ER designation on this number. It is the pivoting lever SEBO uses in the SOFTCASE CE12 switching mechanism, where a magnet carried on a moving arm is what tells the machine which state it is in.
Magnetic switching has no rubbing contacts to burn, so failures here are mechanical. The pivot wears oval, the lever stops returning cleanly to its rest position, and the machine begins responding late or not at all to a movement it used to register immediately. The related magnet support is listed separately on the CE12 parts sheet at position 132, and the rocker switch at position 140, so a fault in this area can be narrowed down to a specific part rather than guessed at.
Because the lever comes assembled, there is no need to work out which magnet or which pivot pin belongs with it. It goes in as one item and the repair stays short.
- Part number: 75079ER
- Condition: built up and ready to fit
- Fits: SEBO SOFTCASE CE12 upright vacuum
- Role: carries the magnet in the CE12 switching mechanism
- Related positions: magnet support at 132, rocker switch at 140 on the SOFTCASE CE12 sheet
- Genuine SEBO spare part
The magnet support at position 132 is listed as an assembled item as well, so this corner of the machine is served throughout by built-up components. That keeps a switching repair to a couple of numbers instead of a handful of loose pieces that have to be identified individually.
Sold as a genuine SEBO magnet lever for the SOFTCASE CE12; search terms that land here include CE12 switching lever and SOFTCASE magnet arm. Isolate the machine from the supply before opening it. Ships in 2-5 business days.
