Product details

Part 455B is the black finish of the TurboCat power head. Everything mechanical is shared with the standard color: a turbine the airflow spins, a beater brush the turbine drives, a cleaning path MD publishes at 12.5 inches, and no electrical connection anywhere in the assembly.

MD treats this single head as the current part for a long line of earlier badges, among them TL2000, T210, TP210, Ultra TP210, VM179, VM179B, RD1990 and HD-1990, along with the names TurboCat II, TurboCat Plus and TurboCat V. An older nozzle on your system that matches one of those is replaced by this one.

Mounting is on a non-button-lock lower extension wand, sold separately. With nothing electrical running through it, moving the head between wands or putting it away is simpler than with a powered nozzle, and a roller that has gone quiet usually points at suction upstream or a hair wrap rather than at the head.
