Returns & Exchanges

Part TF5508BV makes a compact 90-degree turn in a 2 in. white PVC central vacuum run, with a female socket on each end so it sits mid-run between two lengths of pipe rather than plugging onto another fitting's spigot.

A medium-radius 90-degree elbow trades some of the flow advantage of a long-radius sweep for a smaller footprint, which matters where the turn has to fit behind a wall cavity or around framing with limited clearance. Solvent-weld both sockets with PVC cement rated for central vacuum pipe.

Dry-fit the elbow onto the pipe before cementing and check the resulting angle, since PVC solvent weld sets almost immediately and will not allow the joint to be repositioned afterward. Keep a mix of medium and long-radius elbows on hand for a job, since the medium radius used here fits tighter spots that a long-radius sweep cannot.
