MD Wheeler PVC Pipe Cutter ...

Product details
Squeezing a wheeled cutter through PVC leaves a square edge that seats properly inside a fitting, which is more than a hacksaw cut usually manages. MD calls part 528W the cleanest and most convenient way to cut PVC pipe, and the tool carries a deburrer that lifts off the body for work on the fresh edge.
Deburring counts for more on vacuum pipe than on plumbing pipe. The curl of plastic left at a cut sits inside the airway, where lint and hair can hang up on it, so running the deburrer around the end before the fitting goes on is a few seconds well spent at every joint.
Blades dull across a full installation. MD sells replacements as part 529W, listed one at a time although the catalog photograph shows five together. Wiping shavings off the wheel and keeping the pivot clear keeps the tool slicing rather than crushing the pipe wall.
