This genuine SEBO carbon brush set serves the #6165 vacuum motor in the C series canisters. The brushes press against the motor commutator to carry current into the turning armature.
Carbon brushes are a wear item, and as they shorten the motor sparks, loses suction power, or runs intermittently. Ignored, worn brushes can damage the commutator surface. A fresh matched set restores clean electrical contact and steady suction.
