Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.
Shipping and refunds
For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

ESSENTIAL G1 and G4 machines take the pale moulding rather than the darker one used elsewhere, and 5411HG is that part: the forward section of the sole plate, listed complete in light gray.
It is the strip of plastic that reaches a floor first, sitting in front of the roll, and it fixes the height at which the nozzle rides over the surface. That height is doing real work. It is what allows a pressure difference to build across the pile instead of the nozzle simply skating over it, so anything that alters the shape of the plate alters how much the machine picks up. Grit wears at the underside over years of use; one solid knock into a threshold or a step can split it in a moment. Once chipped or cracked, the plate stops sealing against the floor, and a share of the suction escapes through the damage.
Replacement means turning the machine over, so use the opportunity. For this pair of machines the rear section is 2829HG, the frame underneath everything is 2821HG, the pile adjustment wheel is 5174HG and the rubbing plate working with it is 2869HG. Take the model from the rating label before ordering, since sole plates are not common across the ESSENTIAL variants and a near miss will not seat properly.
